Win a magical festive package in Derby this Christmas!

Get ready to make this Christmas unforgettable with Festive Derby!

From the magic of Cinderella to festive family fun, Derby has everything you need to celebrate the festive season and we’re giving you the chance to win.

Everyone’s invited to the ball with Derby's pantomime spectacular, Cinderella. She has big dreams, but with her stepsisters digging in their ugly heels, Cinderella will need her best friend Buttons—and a little help from her Fairy Godmother—to get to the ball and find her happily-ever-after. Starring TV and theatre actress Mina Anwar (Happy Valley, The Thin Blue Line) as the Fairy Godmother, alongside Derby's favourite dame Morgan Brind and Roddy Peters as the ‘love-to-hate’ Ugly Sisters, Cinderella is sure to delight!

This December, Derby transforms into a magical winter wonderland, perfect for creating cherished family memories. The festivities begin on Saturday 30th November with the Christmas Lights Switch-On in Derby City Centre, where twinkling lights and a spectacular Lantern Parade will fill the streets with holiday joy.

For those who love winter fun, the Cathedral Quarter Ice Rink will be open from 30 November to 31 December, offering excitement for all ages with and even toddlers can join in with penguin skating aids. After skating, unwind at the Nordic Bar in Sami Tipis, where you can enjoy hot drinks, festive treats, and free live entertainment.

On 30 November and 1 December, Markeaton Park hosts Family Festivities, featuring Christmas crafts, food stalls, an elf trail, and the chance to write letters to Santa.
